Moushumi Chatterjee has played a role of Angry Ghost. Before she died she had a jewelery box. After died, she hand over that box to Konkona Sen Sharma as a ghost. When Konkona Sen Sharma become mother of Srabanti Chatterjee & then she left it to her. 

At-last, that box goes to the fund of Freedom Fighter (1971). The movie starts from 1947 & ended to 1971 Liberation War.

That was the story about Replacement of Goynar Bakshaw (Jewelery Box). But, there are so many twist in this movie from beginning to last. 1st twist come when Moushumi Chatterjee dies & convert into ghost.

Shirshendu Mukhopadhyay's famous tale of 3 generations of women & their changing position in society,seen in relation to a box of jewels, handed down from one generation to the next. A film by Aparna Sen.
